Jeanine Hunter

Executive Producer/Production Manager

Since the age of 4, Jeanine has been creatively living, working and thinking about the next great big idea.

Born in Buffalo, NY,  she later obtained a B.A. in Public Communication with a minor in Creativity and Innovation at SUNY College at Buffalo. Her professional career began in radio at WUFO as the Morning On-Air talent, Production Coordinator and later promoted to Promotion Director.

In 2000, she moved to Washington, DC where she obtained an M.F.A. in Film at Howard University. A few years later, the phone rang and it was Spike Lee asking if she would be an intern on his upcoming film, "25th Hour". Of course she went to NYC, but later returned to DC due to the declining industry after 9/11.

Upon returning to DC, she worked on a variety of small films, videos and a feature film. In 2002, she began working at Henninger Media Services as an Account Associate, then at Interface Media Group as a Project Manager and in 2004 began working at Discovery Communications as a Post Production Marketing Supervisor for TLC, Travel Channel, Discovery Health and Discovery Home.

She began producing for On-Air Marketing in 2006 for Discovery Home and TLC. After a year, Suite76 was launched along with her freelance career where she helped launch Discovery's new network, Planet Green and worked with various other networks, such as, Travel Channel, Science Channel, TV One, TLC and a few government agencies.

Later in 2009, she went back to Discovery fulltime to work on Planet Green and later added Discovery Fit & Health to her portfolio.

In 2010, she won a National Capital Chesapeake Bay Emmy for Director of Post Production.
